I have been lurking for a couple of weeks now and I have learned so much already. I am an LIW'er but I am in hiding. This is our first month TTC and my first month charting. I read Taking Charge of Your Fertility and I felt so confidant afterward about charting but since I've started I have been doubting everything.
Can you please take a look at my chart and tell me when you think I O'd. FF says I O'd on the 16th but I am not too sure about that. I had O pain on the CD16-CD18 which makes me wonder. I know it can occur before, during or after, not sure if it can happen during all three. My cycles are usually 28-30 days.

Based on your chart, I would say you ovulated on the 15 or 16. I've also heard you can feel O pain before, after or during, so I just based my guess on your temp shift.
well - I'm not a charter myself but this is what a fertility expert recently told me. . you can never exactly predict going forward in a cycle when you O but you can always tell looking back..
so if you get your AF - your O was ALWAYS 14 days before that. . so if your cycle changes then so will your O - bc that 14 day phase is about 99% consistent across all cycles for all women. . this won't help you forward predict but it can help you see a clear pattern with your other signals. .
