Nervous...am I the only one?

Since i found out i am pregnant i have been a bundle of nerves about the pregnancy not "working out" Every time i use the bathroom i check to see if there is anything. Am i the only one who does this??? How do I get myself to be more positive???

My moms side of the family has a history of m/c and someone i know just had a natural m/c at 5 weeks. I can't stop thinking about it.

I"m super excited to be pregnant but there's this overwhelming nervous feeling that seems to come with it. 12 weeks can't come soon enough

Im still nervous and im almost 39 weeks.. Im terrified something will happen.. My sis friend was preg at the very end, one day baby was ok and then the next no heartbeat..Im so scared im constantly feeling my belly to make sure shes moving. I totally can sympathize with you.. Try not to let it get you too stressed though, b/c thats not healthy for the baby.. God Bless you and your pregnancy.

I think its totally normal to be nervous! I am 20w4d and I STILL check for blood every time I go to the bathroom!

I do think the nervousness tends to ease up a bit once you are out of the first trimester (it did for me at least).

I am constantly a wreck because i did have some mild spotting at the beginning, but once i started to feel the baby move regularly (around 16-17 weeks), I felt a lot better. now whenever i am worried i have a little juice or chocolate to get the baby moving. Am I already a mean mommy or what?

My sis and SIL both have lost babies so I think about it alot also. I try not to dwell on it, but it bothers me sometimes.

Its totally normal to feel worried. I always check to see if there is anything after I wipe, and I did the same when I was preggo with DD, up until I had her.

I'm like that too. I stress myself out every day, especially if my pregnancy symptoms are a little less detectable on a specific day, I'll wonder why by boobs aren't as sore or why I don't have ms. Also, I have really bad gas, constipation and bloating some my stomache always hurts and I'm always scared that it's more than just gas.

I totally agree that 12 weeks can't come soon enough. I actually have a countdown at my work computer!!! Hopefully the nerves go away soon!

I am totally like this too! I also check every time I go to the bathroom - I thought I was the only nutty one
So far I've taken HPTs every morning, so 5 of them as of today - it's reassuring, seeing that line get a little darker every day.

My sister just had a m/c on Monday - she was 5 weeks, so not only am I sooo sad for her, but I'm more nervous for myself.

It is totally normal. I have no family history of m/c but I was so terrified because I felt it was too easy to get pregnant so it couldnt possibly "take". I am now 26 weeks and doing fine. For me the worry didn't ease up until about 14 weeks, but I was still nervous until I started feeling the baby move every day around 19 or 20 weeks.

Now the nervous-ness has turned to getting everything ready before the baby.
As someone once told me from the minute you got that BFP, you will never be worry free again!!!

you are definitely NOT the only one! i had so much anxiety about miscarriage at the beginning that i went to the bathroom literally every 15 minutes to check for AF! as much as i'd like to say that the anxiety got better with time, it really hasn't for me. now i'm just anxious about other things - will labor be ok, will i be a good mom, etc. i think that all in all, pregnancy is an anxiety-provoking process. as much as you can, though, try to let go and enjoy it too...

I think it's normal. I had cramping at the start and every time I went to the bathroom, I checked to see if I was bleeding.

I am now 31 weeks and all is well. I think it's perfectly normal to be nervous about it.

I was absolutely paranoid for my first 7 weeks. I checked for blood every time I went to the bathroom until maybe 15-16 weeks. Now that I feel her moving I don't worry as much, but the worries will begin again as I approach the 3rd trimester. I know too much for my own good about what can possibly go wrong.

I was the same way--so paranoid that I would m/c.
Try to stop stressing and enjoy being preggo!!

You are definately not alone!! I am worried all the time. Anytime I feel something funny I run to the bathroom

My husband keeps telling me I should be enjoying the pregnancy. I am trying to and hope as time goes on it gets better. I just finished up my first trimester. I hear the second trimester is the fun one

I am petrified! I just went for my first sonogram yesterday and they reassured me everything was fine, but i still went online to research what a normal sonogram for some 6/7 weeks should look like! it's normal to worry...i guess we'll never stop worrying about the lil ones from now on!

I'm 21 weeks and still worry...I think its totally normal. I guess it never ends.... b/c once the baby comes I'm sure I'll still worry! You're definately not alone.

It's normal. At 30 weeks I'm still nervous and still check for blood.

I am 21 weeks and still worried that something is or will go wrong. I check my underwear for blood everytime I go to the bathroom.

This week my fear is when we go for my level II on friday they are going to tell me something happened to the baby and there isn't a heartbeat anymore.

All these fears are perfectly normal.

I was that same way and did not get to enjoy the first trimester of my pregnancy....that is one of my biggest regrets....

I am sorry to say that nervous feeling never goes away. It is just preparation for becoming a mommy. I also checked the tp every single time I went to the ladies room during my pregnancy all the way through the last day.

I am 20 1/2 weeks and am still nervous all the time....I don't think it EVER goes away.
