Nervous for tomorrow
Tomorrow i'm getting my first sono..i'll only be 5w4d. Although, I might be a day or two later since i got my bfp at 8dpo, which is super early.
I know there is a good chance that i might not see or hear a hb..and i'm gonna have to avoid going into freakout mode..ugh. The thought of having another missed miscarriage seriously makes me sick to my stomach.

Good Luck!!! I have a dr's appt tomorrow morning --we are in the same boat I will be 5w4d or 5w5d
I had a sono last week at 4w3d and all they saw was a thick lining.
I will be thinking of you Karen! What time is your appt?

Good Luck tomorrow! I had my first u/s at 6 weeks and 3 days and the baby was a small blob with a flicker in the middle for a heartbeat. So, at a week earlier, I would not be worried if you don't see much or anything - that's super early. I'm sure your Dr will measure what they see and tell you if baby is growing on track. Good Luck!
Oh, I was also told that at 6 weeks, 3 days when I was there that they didn't expect to see a heartbeat flicker so not to worry, being a week earlier they'd probably emphasize it even more.

Good luck! At that point, we saw the sac and yolk sac which was great. At 6.5 weeks they told me not to get my hopes up for a hb yet (although we saw it) so definitely don't let that get you nervous at all. I'm not sure they can ever see it that early.
