Neocate Moms-Impacted/Severe Constipation
Anyone have this problem? Hudson just screamed in pain for 30 minutes trying to pass two poops the size of golf balls. They were literally stuck. He bled after. It was horrifying. Anyone else go through this? He is transitioning from having BM in his diet to no BM. I have a call into the GI but just wondering if this is the norm.

I had the same issue, fortunately for me, DD was close enough in age for baby food and Pears have done the trick, she is moving them perfectly-almost too much..lol I feel your pain, i was calling the GI really upset, they told me it is not uncommon and had me give her prunes..or prune juice with water

I'm hoping we are told to do this as well. DS is 5 months so could start solids. I remembering doing this with DD because she was just generally constipated. It broke my heart. It was the most painful scream, not even a cry really. I never want him to experience that again! Made me feel that much worse for not doing BFing and the total elimination diet.
