Need your thoughts please :)

Ok so I am on CD34 and still no AF!!!! I took a digital test on CD29 AND GOT A BFN. Should I test again???

Just a little background, I haven't been on BC for over 1 1/2 years. I have always had normal cycles (28-30 days). Last month I randomly had an irregular period...I got my period on CD40 and doctor said everything was ok after an ultrasound. We just started trying last month.

Does anyone have a cycle this long or know if is "normal?" I am so concerned because now that my period is so irregular it is so much harder to figure out when I am ovulating!!!! Thanks in advance for your input!!!!

****So yesterday I went to the doctor after being on CD 47 and still no AF!!! She is sending me for additional blood work to check for Thyroid Disease, Polycystic Syndrome, as well as my hormone levels. She believes that it is one of those based on the extreme delay of my period as well as my symptoms. She didn't seem to optimistic, which REALLY freaked me out! She wanted the blood work done immediately and I have an *appointment* with her on Wednesday to review the results! An appointment to discuss blood test results?I have never heard of that! I am so scared...I know I shouldn't be but I just don't know what is going on with my body! I have always had a normal cycle up until 2 months ago (of course when we decide we want to get pregnant)! I am scared senseless that something is wrong with me AND that I might not be able to have children. I know that might seem extreme but..... I am one of those people that have though about babies my whole life and want a nice big family! I was born to be a mother! I asked her if she could call me to tell me if everything comes back ok and she just said, "I really need you to come in and discuss your results." Now I have to wait until WEDNESDAY!!! Plus....I got my period 2 hours after I left the office....what are the chances!!!! She didn't even examine me or anything to bring it on! I was so excited but then DH reminded me that it still doesn't change anything Anyone have any words of wisdom or prior experience to help me understand this better???? If you read this whole thing...I genuinely appreciate! I am so scared and confused....I tend to babble!!!

I would keep testing. Maybe your cycles are starting to get slightly longer now because you are subconsciously stressed about TTC? I would probably call the doctor again.

I might wait (ugh, WAIT) a day or two to take another test then if that shows up negative again, go get a blood test done at your DR.
A girlfriend of mine had a suspicion that she was pregnant. She took a couple of test days apart and they all had come up NEGATIVE...
She has twin 7 year old girl and knows the symptom's of being pregnant. Well make a long story short she wound up getting a blood test done to confirm that she was in fact pregnant! So I don't always trust those urine test.

This just happened to me...typically i have a normal 28-30 cycles but this month it was 43 days! After 5 BFN called to schedule an appointment with the Dr, they told me to have taken 3 different tests all with FMU and if it was still a BFN to come in for a consult. Been off the pill since march. Low and behold AF finally decided to show this morning, but I am still keeping the appointment to figure out what the heck happened. I don't think this is helping you at all, but I can let you know what the dr. says after my appointment on the 30th. sorry HTH

I had a blood test a month ago after telling the dr we were TTC. I had a full blood work up and everything came out fine. When this happened last month (the first month I was irregular) I went to the doctor, they did an internal ultrasound and said everything looked fine and it looked like I might get my period soon (I got it the next day).

So now this is the second month this is happening. I am on CD 35 and no period. I don't feel like my period is coming at all....I actually feel like I am ovulating (lots of EWCM ::TMI:: and the walking on eggshells feeling). Is it too late to be ovulating??? Ughh soooo confusing! Of course i have never had an irregular period in my life and when we decide to TTC THAT is when my body decides to malfunction! Gotta love it! The funny thing is....I haven't even been stressing about TTC (although that would be fabulous)! I am more stressed I am all screwed up and I feel weird calling the doctor AGAIN for this! Thanks for everyones input!

So I looked on the ovulation predictor test and the graph ranges from a 21 day cycle to a 40 day cycle. Is 40 days normal??? That sounds so weird to me! Maybe my cycles are getting longer!
