Need your thoughts on this bedding...(2 questions)
1) what do you think of this for a girl?
It's actually apple green, black velvet, and white/cream. In the photo the furniture is dark brown.
2) Do you think brown furniture would work, even though the colors are black?
Or should we go with cream?
We are re-painting the walls, however we have a lot of white molding, a light beige carpet, and a beautiful brown/antique bronze fan that we don't want to take out. So I am trying to figure out if it'll work as well as I am picturing it.

The bedding is very elegant. I definitely think it makes more sense for a girl than for a boy. I also think it would be fine (or maybe even better) with brown furniture instead of black. It almost seems a little too severe with all the black. I like the idea of softening it up.
I'm not a huge fan of damask, but I think if you add some pale violet accents, it will really look like a beautiful baby girl's room. That will go well with your beige rug as well. That rug in the picture is just too much IMHO.

Yes, i think it would work. Brown furniture should be fine as long as its a dark brown. What color walls are you doing?

not sure of the wall color yet. If the DH likes it too I will order some swatch samples and see what might go. Something pale, definitely nothing as bold an apple green.
I am not into all the "matchy" stuff, so I would probably only be getting the begging/skirt/sheet. No rug, hamper, etc.

yes, I like them too and DD room has a LARGE double window that's opposite the entrance, so I want something that pops.

I think lavender walls would be beautiful  I wouldn't have thought of that myself but I love the idea and I love the bedding even more imagining it in a lavender room!
