need to unload...
and being nobody but DH and my doctor knows we are TTC, what better place than here!
We've been TTC DC#2 for a while and i've done a few rounds of clomid because I have a short LP.
I had really thought that this was our month. when I got my smiley I was taking robitussen and using pre-seed, figuring it would all help those little guys get to where they need to be. At 10DPO I took a HPT and got a neg. I was terribly upset, but knew it could be too early, so I wait. I normally get AF on 10 or 11 DPO, and spot a day or two before AF actually arrives. I hadnt seen any so I became hopeful. Now, at 12 DPO, I started having some brownish/pinkish CM, so I know AF is coming.
I just feel so defeated. I have one more round of clomid to go before my OB sends up to an RE...I was really hoping that it wouldnt have to go there, but i'm not feeling so optimistic right now.
I just dont know what else we can do...
thanks for listening...

Re: need to unload...
I totally understand your frustration...with clomid you should be monitored to make sure that everything is working and they can check you with u/s...I would suggest seeing an RE now and not later...I did clomid for 2 months with my gyn and I regret not taking the advice of the girls on here and I did not see an RE from the beginning.
Good luck!!!

Re: need to unload...
so sorry :( I def agree with the pp.. when taking clomid, you should be monitored. for some it does nothing, for others, you can end up with multiples follies.. I know it stings... I just wanted to say Im sorry.. and good luck with your next step!

Re: need to unload...
Someone just was saying to me that it can be so upsetting when our bodies don't do what they are literally made for. I was like.....yeah, that is exactly it.
Coast on this downward part of the ride and get ready for the next exciting trip up. I'll cross my fingers for you.
After jumping on here and reading some of the posts, I decided to make an appt. with and RE before my next gyno appt.

Re: need to unload...
thanks ladies!
Feeling better and a little bit more hopeful for this next round! I try to stay positive, but as we all do, I was having a moment! I'm so glad that I have this board to vent on.
I'm really unsettled about going down the RE path...between the cost factor (although my insurance covers up to $10k worth, I know it'll go fast!) and the time off from work that i'll have to take and the greater emotional toll it'll take. It's just an overwhelming thought for me. Besides, we're buying a house on top of it all, so we'll see. I have an appointment with my OB on wednesday to discuss if we're going to go right the RE or try one more time.
thanks again everyone!
