I can't help with the 2 year-old, but so far, my to-be 4-month old is getting bibs & binkys in her stocking, along with some teethers. Not sure what else yet, if anything else.

cars
trains
stickers
whistle
tubes of little people (or other characters) - I got DS an animal planet dinasour tube from TRU
Bath 'markers'
4 month old:
teethers
bibs
pacifiers
spoons
sippy cup
stuffed animal
puffs
plate & bowl set

I got my 2 yo:
A book about using the potty
a plastic "recorder/flute"
an echo microphone
a set of mini mickey playcards (he loves carrying them around at my ILs house)
I basically went to Target and looked in the $1 section, as well as the bins in teh toy sections that have things for $5 or under.
I also plan on hitting the dollar store and ac moore for a few coloring/crafty type things.
