Chirstmas ideas for my 12-13 year old ...

stepdaughter. She is 12 now and will be 13 12/26. I already got her a coach scribble purse. And, I usually get her some clothes?

Any other ideas?

Last year my sister got my 13 year old niece an ipod so we got her a gift certificate to iTunes and some accessories.

I like doing coordinated gifts like that. They wind up getting the whole package, and we help my sister at the same time.

We've also gotten her a jewelry box, and put the cheaper jewelry in each section and in the last drawer we put the nice gold earrings we bought.

Does she have any hobbies? Does she wear makeup? What about a gift cert to her fav clothes store and a Ulta-3 type place?

maybe a subscription to a teen magazine like cosmogirl or teen vogue, etc..?

a telephone for her bedroom
make-up, nail polish, perfume

My niece is the same age, turns 13 on 12/14.

Last year I got her a subscription to a magazine, I actually went bought 4 different ones and let her pick which one she wanted.

As she gets older her taste is becoming more $$.

She wears jewelry more often so I am thinking of getting her a necklace for the birthday.
She is also really in to CDs and clothes now as well!

Depending on the price range tickets to a show or concert might be really nice !

Ulta has those huge makeup kits at xmas time (the noes that are almost in a suitcase)...I loved makeup at that age (and now!).
