Need some good breakfast ideas
So Sabrina was really enjoying her Cheerios for a while and then she recently decided she didn't want them. She has been grazing in the mornings and I am wondering what might interest her.
These days she takes two or three spoonfuls of cereal, a few bites of a banana, sometimes half a yogurt and then comes back for snacks mid morning (according to my parents)
What might she like? I would like her to have a better breakfast than what she is getting.

Re: Need some good breakfast ideas
Thanks for all of these suggestions.
Now here's another question: how much does your toddler eat? Half a muffin? 2 pancakes? a few berries? Up until now I have tried not to get hung up on how much she eats as long as she is eating but she is starting to look skinny to me so I want to make sure she is eating enough.

Re: Need some good breakfast ideas
DD is a chub! She eats 2 of the frozen pancakes (medium sized) and always has a piece of cheese and fruit with it too...

Re: Need some good breakfast ideas
How much he eats depends on the day. Some mornings he'll chow down a waffle, fruit and a yogurt. Other mornings, it may be just a yogurt. I never force him and I always give him what he wants so long as it's not cookies.

Re: Need some good breakfast ideas
Nikolas is a crummy eater in general but eats a GREAT big breakfast. Here are his staples:
*The following portions are all 'regular' sized, not minis: 2 pancakes 2 waffles 2 pieces of French Toast (all of the above is just with a teeny bit of butter, no syrup)
* Scrambled Eggs w/cheese (usually 2 eggs, sometimes 3 )
*Oatmeal w/fruit (not lately, this is more of a winter thing I noticed)
*muffin w/fruit
Typically he will eat some fruit with any of the above, or applesauce (no sugar, in all sorts of flavors)
Also will chase any of these meals down with handfuls of cheerios
Now if only I could get him to eat this good the rest of the day
