Need some advice about 1st birthday party entertainment
OK. So there will be a total of 7 babies. All between the ages of 1-3.
Do I need entertainment? I was thinking of getting a Sesame puppet show, but it's $350 for a HALF hour!!!!
Should I just get a character? Elmo specifically.
Should I even do ANY entertainment?
Thanks!

Re: Need some advice about 1st birthday party entertainment
We hired Nick the Balloonatic for DS2's first birthday and I think he was $200 for an hour.
For DS1's 1st birthday we hired Twinkle Town. I dont remember how much they were though.
I dont think you NEED entertainment. But it is nice to have something for small kids to keep them busy. Is it at your house? Do you have outdoor toys for them to play with?
ETA: There is also Darlene Graham who I just hired for DS2's 2nd birthday. Her prices start at $275.

Honestly, get some balloons and throw them on the floor. they will have a ball with that! lol
You can get a character if you want but I totally don't think it's necessary.. they will just run around anyway..

Re: Need some advice about 1st birthday party entertainment
We had a lot more kids and a larger age range and decided not to get entertainment. It turned out great! I bought a parachute for the kids to play with (big hit), made a "pin the tail on the donkey"-type game, had a pinata, and brought a few of DS' ride on toys to the place. The kids had more than enough to do (they ended up playing with the balloons too). I honestly don't think you need entertainment, especially not for 7 kids under the age of 3

Thanks for the replies. I think we might just go with an Elmo.

also consider bubbles - lots and lots of bubbles. That will keep them entertained!
