Need rec for a really nice restaurant
Somewhere that not only has good food but that the attire is nicer, not jeans and stuff. Preferably Eastern Nassau/Western Suffolk South shore but will travel a little further E W or N for a really good place. Thanks!
Open to different kinds of food but NOT anything spicy - Mex, indian etc. (my Mother wont eat)

Mims in Syosset is nice. It's not super fancy but it's not a place I would wear regular jeans & sneakers to either.
I heard good things about Original George Martins in Rockville Center.
I can't think of anyplace you won't see jeans - I have been to pricey steak houses and people roll in wearing older/worn looking jeans, stretched out golf/rugby shirts, etc.

Teller Steakhouse in Islip is really nice and has great food.
My BIL said 21 Main was awesome too.

Hands down Gemelli's in Babylon village. The food is fantastic, the service is great and the atmosphere is beautiful.

Dodici in Rockville Centre. The food is great and so is the atmosphere. They have a huge menu. It is moderately priced.

Great suggestion. I have to go back there soon. I think they have the best fresh mozzarella.
