Need quick help: bottled drink suggestions for party
My DD's 1st birthday is this Saturday. It's a backyard tented party and instead of getting a keg we decided to do a variety of beers, wines, drinks (no liquor).
So far we got a bunch of your normal run-of-the-mill beers like Miller lite, Bud light, Bud heavy, some Sam Adams fall beers, Corona light.
I'm thinking for the ladies who dont drink regular beer or wine I'd like to get something else. Maybe like a Twisted Tea or something along those lines. Any suggestions as to what most people might like??

I also have gotten these over the summer. Super convenient.... all pre mixed and you just open the spout and dispense into a cup by pressing the button.
Some of my local liquor stores sell them.

My friends and I have been drinking spiked seltzers lately. They seem to be pretty popular.

Yup - there's a few brands of them, either bottles or cans and they're always a big hit!

I have to say, some of the spiked seltzers I have tried have tasted like shit. Not sure which brands are good but the few I have tried have been undrinkable.

I'm not a huge beer drinker, but when I do, I don't go for the " regular " ones. I like IPA's and I am a fan of the seasonal beers. Also like grapefruit beer a lot. Smirnoffs are good, and I used to be a huge fan of Twisted Tea's till I realized how much sugar is in them .

DW and I love hard cider. There are a lot of brands out there now. Angry Orchard is very easy to find.

We are cider fans too, especially my husband who is gluten free. Some are extremely sweet so I tend to look for a lower sugar count when trying something new. We like Magners and Stella Artois. There are also some yummy flavored ones like black cherry.

I still love Twisted Tea- we have them for every party. We had the spiked seltzers over the summer a lot, too. But for this time of year, I'd get a variety of Angry Orchard. Those are really tasty.

Thanks everyone! I ended up getting a case of Twisted Teas (those are a staple for us), a variety pack of Mike's Hard Lemonade, and a variety pack of Angry Orchard Ciders.

I agree. I've tried 2 different brands. Truly and White Claw and I hated them both.

Glad I am not the only one. I think it was Truly that I tried. And it tasted horrible. And I like flavored seltzers in general. But this didn't taste like flavored seltzer... it was just nasty. The better way to go is to add vodka to a regular flavored seltzer.

I buy these by the dozen & are also great when you want to bring something to someones house besides the usual wine bottle. They have become soooo popular amongst my friends that we refer to them as IV Bags (thats what they look like) but they are very hard to come by lately, The liquor store in the Lake Success shopping center sells them..by Ivarrones.

I have tried them all - Truly are pretty tasteless and I won't buy them again. I like White Claw and the ones posted above

OMG! I tried this and it's the best pumpkin beer I've had. So much better than Sam Adams pumpkin. Sooo good!
