Need Party Room
Hey ladies!! I am starting to plan my ds's Christening and i was wondering if you know of any restaurants with private party rooms in the merrick/bellmore area?

Violetta's has a private room upstairs that can hold about 40-50 people

We did both of my kids at Hemingways in Wantagh. We had 30-35 in the front glassed in room, for bigger parties they give you the loft upstairs.
In Seaford the Knights of Columbus is supposed to be nice, inexpensive and good food.

We did both of my kids at Hemingways in Wantagh. We had 30-35 in the front glassed in room, for bigger parties they give you the loft upstairs.
I LOVE Hemmingways! DH and I use to live in Bellmore! It's a great palce for a party!

ooh - I didn't even think of Hemingways - I have to check that out - I am in the market for a place myself.
I am in the market for a private room/small catering hall myself for my child to be's christening - trying to avoid KofC and places like that if possible.
I know Antonettes on Merrick Road in Bellmore has a private room I think they said it holds 70 people. Does Matteos? I have been meaning to call them as well. There is La Piazza as well - but I only ate there once and hated the food. A lot of the local restaurants will give you half or the whoel restaurant if you have a lot of people. I did my son's at Toque (now Lucca - but small). I know Cafe Symposio does too. Also the place on the water on Bellmore Ave will too. They have an upstairs party room too but it wasn't too nice. But if you have enough you can have the entire restaurant and deck on the water.
