need opinion
I went to the eye doctor today and he told me that I have signs of glacoma. He said it right away. He also seemed very rushed. I want to go for another opinion but my coverage only covers one eye exam a year. Is there a way I can get another exam and not have to pay out of pocket for it?

Re: need opinion
What type of eye doctor and what type of insurance? If you have a good insurance, you can see an opthomologist for a specific problem and they should cover it. I can only get 1 eye exam for something like glasses, but i can see any opthomologist at any time for a problem.
The test for glaucoma is a pressure test. They numb your eye with a drop and then use an instrument with a blue light to test the pressure. Did the dr. do this?

Re: need opinion
You should call the ins. company and they can probably approve another visit to another dr.
