Need OB Rec Affiliated with NSLIJ IPA
Hi all -
My DH is about to start working for NSLIJ and because of the health insurance plans they offer, I need to switch my OB.  If I stay with my current doctor, I will have a high deductible to meet and coinsurance - which is crazy expensive. The IPA plan covers practically everything 100%.
I am on the South Shore in Nassau and am looking for an OB who will take a high risk patient this late in the game. It would be great if they did sonos right in the office. I will also need a perinatalogist, but my current one may be in the plan. I am 22 weeks now, but will have the new insurance as of May 1st.
Any recommendations would be most appreciated! Thanks so much!

i too am in the iPa.. i am pretty sure my ob does take high risk.. call though.. his name is dr. eysler- the office is amazing and so is he adn his staff. the number is 516-937-3881. he is in hicksville..they are awesome staff.. good luck.

My ob is in Deer Park so that won't help you but Madonna Perinatal is in the LIJ IPA. I called the mineola office and they verified they are in the network and they know how to bill it correctly. Yes this is important. Also when you get any blood work done at any doc office make sure you tell them to send it to a NSLIJ lab or you will be nailed with a hefty bill.

Thank you girls so much - I will look into these OB's. Good to know about Madonna - I go there currently and I thought I saw Dr. Goldstein's name in the plan... I will double check wiith them when I go in on 3/9.

Make sure you talk to billing. The front desk at both offices had never heard of it but they directed me to billing who assured me they take it and it won't be a problem. I was even given her name in case I received any incorrect billing. If you have a problem fm me. I can dig up the name and number. I know I put it somewhere in case I needed it.
