Need new OB must deliver at Stony Brook
Here are my requirements
Must deliver at stony brook and ONLY there
Must have office hours after 5pm and hoping for weekends too but that's not a total requirement
basically I love my OB but he wants a c-section for sure. after talking to some other people in the medical field they think I don't need it. (due to back issues) I'd like to find another OB and see their opinion on the matter, and if they agree I will accpet it. if they disagree I will stay and have a normal delivery with them, but I really want to deliver at stony brook and I think I really want to do this on my own.
I'm 18 or 19 weeks, everytime I go there they tell me something different

i go to Three Village Women's Health. they only deliver at Stony brook. i go to the patchogue location (love everyone there so far) but they also have a Setauket location.
i'm not sure about the office hours. their website says M-F from 9-5 but you could call and see. i am pretty sure i've had appointments in the evening, around 545-6 pm. so maybe they are flexible on certain days.

You could try the stony brook midwives. I am not sure about their office hours but they have a bunch of different offices.

i know he only delivers at stony brook

I use this practice as well, they only deliver at stony brook. I highly recommend Dr. Porte and Dr. Lochner, I like dr. Okeefe as well. Good luck!

I changed OB this PG, and will be going to this group. I have an appointment with Dr. Porte. I'm so nervous to change, but have heard really good things. I wanted to deliver at Stony Brook this time.
I went to meet the Stony Brook Midwives and was very close to using them, and still might if I don't like the new OB office. They seem really nice and there C/S rate is so low. They do everything possible before they will reccomend a C/S. They work in an office with another OB practice. So they always have an OB to anwser any questions or concerns they have.
