Need Kong Help

Bella is 5-months and about 7 pounds. Which Kong would you recommend I get her?

I did buy this one and she played with it for about 5 min's and walked away. With this one, there is actually a paste that you put in the groves, but it grossed me out and she was not to into it.

Re: Need Kong Help

I use the rounder Kong that is smooth on the outside. It looks different from the one you picked. Some dogs are not really interested in them, so it is up to you whether to try to different shape or just try another toy.

Re: Need Kong Help

My dogs never did well with Kongs. I just would worry they would choke somehow. That one you posted does look odd...the peanut butter or whatever you smear in there would get all over.

I was putting peanut butter in some treat holder for my dog. The oil from it seeped into my hardwood floor. So no more for me.

Yeah I got this one because it was for teething puppies and that she is!!!

It was gross though, the stuff would get all over her face and on the carpet. I used it once and got rid of it!

Yes, messy!
That's why I am not a fan of them. Plus, as they go to dig for the treat, they push it, and sometimes it can get pushed under a peice of furniture. Then you have a dog scratching your floor to reach his toy/treat. Not good. So I don't use them.

We stuff "hard" treads in the center for Arnold. I only use the "spray cheese" stuff in the other round one posted.
