Need hugs
I've been feeling a little discomfort "down there" for the past couple of days and when my husband and I did the deed last night I realized that it is the ugly yeast infection...I'm prone to it to begin with and now that I have it so early in the pregnancy I'm afraid that Im going to suffer from them throughout the nine months...Im waiting to call my doctor tomorrow and find out what can I use to treat it...
My husband is very supportive but you know how it is ... disappointing a little ...
**UPDATE**
So I spoke with my doctor just now who advised me that until you're 12 weeks, you shouldnt stick anything in there...topical creams are ok and he advised me against the acidophilus pills just yet as they may upset my stomach...so I have to wait...hopefully it'll go away on its own.

I suffered with them throughout my pregnancy. The Dr. will be able to give you something-probably a cream. Also try eating yogurt-it may help.

i truly know how you feel!! at 14 wks to like 17 wks or so i had the same problem! some days were worse than others. so since then i have been taking an acidopholus pill every morning and eat one yogurt a day. i haven't had a problem since (fingers crossed)

Aw! I'm sorry. It is so stinky the things that come up during pregnancy or that are exberated during pregnancy.
Hope you feel better. Those acedophlius pills help and I hear that yogurt helps as well.

Sorry to hear that - I got one during my IVF, very scary because I was afraid it would affect the procedure.
Drink 1 T apple cider vinegar mixed with 3 T water 3 times a day, and it cleared me up the next day! And no messy creams down there, making it even more uncomfortable....

The Dr. will probably suggest a creme. In addition you can:
eat yogurt with active cultures
take acidophillus
cut down your sugar intake
increase your water.

If you can go to Whole Foods. They have an acidophillus perle that has a billion active cultures per capsule.

buy stonyfield yogurt--it has the live cultures acidopolus in it already/

I wonder why he thinks the acidophillus will upset your stomach...it is used to aid digestion
