NEED HELP with paint colors - UPDATE - WHAT I PICKED!!
trying to find a NON-GREEN coordinating paint color to the Earthen Rose at Valspar paints...
can you help?
lowescreativeideas.com had the color in their insiration pictures...

what look are you going for? How is the room (s) situated?
The Shitake color in the living room beyond is really pretty 
But if you aren't afraid to really have color in your house, I am drawn to the blue they show in this bedroom (Valspar's Sea Sage). I think the colors could be played off each other (notice the blue vase in the dining room picture?) ....

love these two colors together. You could go a little lighter with the blue/green color if it's too bold.
ETA: so where do you want to use this Rose color? and the coordinating color you are asking about, what is that for another room or the same room? You are peaking my interest with this one. Love the color.

I did this color with "hot stone" also by valspar, but cannot get to include a photo of it.
i hope this works
Walk into my house, the earthen rose (orange) will eventually be in my kitchen - then the wall beyond here: is my dining room, which will be the hot stone color

Then beyond that room is our living room with huge window on the back of the house, this room will then be the earthen rose again:

I may even keep the brown trim for a while until we get the time to do the white trim... it may work, we'll see.

I actually did this bluey green as my accent in my bedroom. in fact, if you turn the page in the lowescreativeideas book there are four colors which include that bedroom... that's my bedroom (well, the color samples are all of what i have now). i just need to get my picture frames and wall stuff in order. i am going to paint some. thanks to another post on here.

Oh stop, you are good at picking colors & decorating. Your other house was so colorful and you took so many chances with some really great colors. I can't wait to see what you do with this home. You will put your "Rachel" stamp on this home too.
