NEED HELP WITH DETAILS OF THE PARTY
We are planning a suprise 80th birthday party for my grandmother.
Anyone have ideas for an invitation and center pieces?

Is it during the day or at night?
Centerpieces can be anything....flowers, candles. Do you plan on making them yourself?

We had a party for my grandmother and we used lots of flowers in the decorating and lots of family photos.
You can incorporate a photo into the invite.
There can even be photos as part of the centerpieces or as part of a display at the party.
We also took a family photo (all children/grandchildren and great-grandchildren) and gave it to her as a gift.

Does she have a favorite flower? You could use that for c-pieces
Use old time candy from her childhood days as favors
Your could do a years like the 20's, 30's, 40's, 50's etc. and have pics from her in each decade blown up.

maybe make each table a different decade, and decorate it according to the decade that it is. Kind of like a 'Through the years" type of thing.

I will be making them myself..... we did a card with a baby and an adult pic for my grandfather's 80th, so i want to try to do something a lil different for her since they are husband and wife
