need help with bottles on registry!!
ok so i am so overwhelmed with registering for bottles. There are so many different kinds, sizes etc and then I don't get the different levels of nipples! 
i am having twins and plan to TRY to BF, but I know either way I need bottles.
Can anyone help give me some advice on how many bottles, types, levels, etc. (esp twin mommies!)?

Don't buy too many of any one type, because you may need to try different ones out. We started DS on Playtex Ventaire, but he was getting way too much air still, so we switched to Born Free which we loved!

I felt the same so I put the starter kit for just about every brand out there on it. I then added a few stage 1 and 2 nipples for each.

I EBP DS so we didn't use a lot of bottles but he did really well with the Platex drop ins. I just got the starter pack that came with 2 small and 2 large. I also had 1 ventaire, 1 born free and a Dr. Brown's. I didn't want to buy too many of each incase he preferred something else.

A friend gave me a crapload of Avent bottles which we used for a little while, but we noticed he had some reflux, so we bought a couple of Playtex, those didn't work so we ended up with Dr. Browns. And then I bought a ton. I'm definitely just going to use the Dr. Browns on this one because I have a ton, but you should definitely just get one or two of one type first. You never know what they are going to prefer, but I hope they both prefer the same kind!!!!
Once you do figure out which works best, I'd get at least 20 4oz bottles and probably 10-15 8oz. And if you do end up with Dr. Brown's, I totally recommend the dishwasher racks. What a lifesaver!!! To be honest, I was too tired to be interested in washing bottles which is why I had so many. With twins you're going to be busy, and you're going to want plenty of bottles!!

I started with the born free but DD didn't like them too much and they were a pain to clean. We are now using the Playtex Drop Ins which are awesome and work great for DD.
I agree with the other posts that you need to try a couple different types so I wouldn't buy a lot of one type. Then once you know what you like buy as many as you like depending on how often you want to do dishes. I currently only have 4 4oz bottles and need to get more.

I love Dr Browns and got the set. Honestly, I lucked out. Not every baby likes everything you give them, I would register for one of each bottle that you like and go from there. Especially if you have two!

I'm not a BTDT, but I've read such great things about the Playtex Drop Ins, so I'm going with those. Apparently, it decreases the amount of air that the baby takes in, which is better for baby.
Plus, there's really no cleaning, which works for me!

i registered for the tommee tippee bottles and the born free and my girls take to both of them great! my milk stopped so now Im only bottle feeding and i go through 6 bottles a night between 10 and 8am. and that's without any bottles that u might need in between.
u will need a lot of bottles!! Im always washing and sterilizing them. lol.

I would buy mainly the larger ones frankly. My Born Frees start measurements at 2 oz and DS came home from the hospital drinking 3 oz.
We had maybe 4 4-oz ones and 8 8-oz ones. As long as you have a dishwasher and you do the dishes daily, that should be enough for one kid. For twins, maybe get double that?

I'm willing my little monkeys to like the drop ins. I'm all for less cleaning. When I start to think of the amount of time these 2 will take, the thought of drop ins eases my mind just a little.

BTDT mama recommended Avent. She likes that they don;t have the extra piece to was hlike Dr. Browns so we went with them.

Dittos to this. We registered for playtex drop ins for  I pray they take to them ...I have no desire to sterilize, warm, clean those Dr. Brown's and all of their parts
