Need help with a Bridal Shower Gift
DH's cousin is getting married and I got an invitation to the shower, but she isn't registered anywhere.
The only information I know, is that they will be staying in the apt at her parents house. So I don't know if they have a lot of things or not.
Should I get something more pratical, like stuff for the kitchen, applicance, etc. Or a fine giftware set like toasting flutes, cake server, picture frame, etc.
I'm looking to spend around $100.
Also, what is something that you got for your shower that you couldn't live with out. That might give me some ideas.
Any suggestions would be great, Thanks!

I was going to suggest a gift card...but something we got at our engagement party was a crock pot. Now this was something I had never even thought about and possibly would not have bought for myself BUT someone gave it to us and I LOVE IT!

Re: Need help with a Bridal Shower Gift
We got 2 bath robes, personalized w/ our names on them in a wicker laundry basket. It was a really nice gift and personalized for us- which was great! My aunt got them from J. Crew and we still use them. HTH!

If they are staying at her parents house, I would suggest a gift card. They probably won't have a lot of room to store gifts and this way, whenever they get their own place, they can go pick things out.

gift cards are great, but if you wanna give a gift gift, I personally would get monogrammed towels. I think they are so nice.

i too would get a gift card. if they aren't registered, it may be bc they don't have space for all the typical things that ppl register for in their apt.
or - if you know where they are going on their honeymoon -- maybe you can do something related to that -- like a GC to a spa there or soemthing

Being that I know who you are talking about , I think they are fairly "simple" people. I think something practical would be much better for her. How about like a nice set of bath towels?
