need help-power point questions
I have windows XP on my 5 or 6 year old Dell PC. I need to start working on power points, creating & editing. Where can I get a download, I see a free one on the microsoft website PP2003 but it doesn't let you edit.
I'm so not good at this stuff, help

I would think you need to buy PowerPoint. The only thing I know that you can download are some backgronds and other things. I've never seen a free version of PP anywhere.

OpenOffice is a full office suite, compatible with MS Office (for most things), and it comes with a full PP-type tool. Totally free. I have this at home. Download it, and try it out. If it doesn't work the way you want, you didn't waste any money. If it does what you need, you just saved a lot of $$.

Ditto. I have Open Office at home, and while there are a few issues with converting between Office documents, it's pretty good.
