Need help picking a car seat

From last time I have a Graco snap n go and a Citi mini

DD will be 4 when baby arrives and new baby will new a new infant seat

Do I get:

-A Graco one so there's no problem going w/my snap n go (and a citi mini attachment because I love my citi mini)

-B get a different brand I like, lightweight etc and just get the attachment for the citi mini for it?

-C Just get something entirely different (car seat and stroller)

I'll probably get an double umbrella stroller (maybe 2nd hand or maybe new?) for both kiddos as well.

Any suggestions on the car seat and/or the double umbrella stroller?

TIA!

I think you can reuse your seat. It shouldn't be expired yet. Check the date on the bottom.

I would but we put it in my moms basement and it got damaged when she had water damage. Bases are fine---can we reuse those (because its within 5yrs)?

I registered for the Graco SnugRide 35 and the snap and go. I can't wait. My SIL has it as well as 2 other people I know. They are so light weight and easy to use.

I didn't register for the citi mini but my SIL got that and I liked it. It was SUPER easy to fold up. My cousin actually told me she's getting rid of her stroller and getting the citi mini because when she went to Disney she said it was so much easier and great to use. She said out of the 2 kinds of strollers she's had, the citi mini is her favorite.

I don't have too many answers for you but I'm in the same boat. We have a graco infant seat from DD, as well as the snap and go, and the city mini. We are trying to decide what to do as far as getting the attachment for the city mini.

I think the Graco is still a good bet, esp since you have the snap n go and it fits well, so maybe just get a replacement of that. It should def still work with your bases, just check the date. You only use the infant seat for less than a year anyway so it should still be okay.

I have been watching for a good deal on the city mini attachment but I might wait until I have the baby to see if it is worth it. I figure I have the snap and go already. I got a second hand jogging stroller for walks and then I figure it will be better to wait and see what kind of use the double will get before I make a huge investment into one.
