need help from the experts
Hi! I was on LIW, not a big poster... but I have questions to ask and no one to ask... so I thought this would be the place to go...
My husband and I have been married for a year and three months now... even though we would love a baby, we are NOT ready financially, etc. I am in my last semester of college and starting my masters in the spring... it is just not the right time for US right now.
My period is always on time, literally like clockwork 28 days... My period is now late 2 days and no signs of coming, I dont feel like I usually do when I'm getting it.
I took a First response test today and it was negative. So if im not pregnant where is my period!!!  Im just confused!... what should I do?

Are you stressed or have you been sick lately? Sometimes periods can be late for a number of reasons. When you took the test did you test with FMU?
Hoping it turns out the way you want it to

Um.. yes, you can I've been stressed!! With a husband, school, etc. I'm always stressed! LOl
I guess I just have to wait? I really hope I get an answer either way by the weekend because I cant even concentrate on anything else... its all I'm thinking about right now!

ETA: no it wasnt my fisrt morning urine.. I tested around 5pm today.. pe'ed twice during the day.

Are you feeling some unusual symptoms that you never felt before?
You might be testing too early, many times people get negatives and then a positive a day, a few days or a week later.
I would a few more days to test again.

I would test again with FMU. But as PP said, it could just be delayed due to stress or some other reason. Sometimes our periods are just a little late. I guess if it goes on for another week or 2 (and you continue to get BFNs), you might want to consult your doctor.

Thanks for the responses...
It might just be stress, we will see...
if I dont get my period by Monday I will definately be testing again, by that time it would be 6 days late.

update: so i am now 6 days late for my period! It doesnt sound like its coming any time soon... first time in my life this is happening 
I tested when I was 5 days late and it was negative.
My question is IF i WAS pregnant, it would have shown up on the test already right?
(Im using first response and it was with my FMU).

Sometimes your period can change with seasonal changes. And, if you are waiting for it. One time I skipped a whole a month and went through 5 or 6 tests!
