Need gift ideas for a craft beer lover
I need to pick up a gift as a thank you for someone. Would prefer to stay around $50 if that's possible. I know they are big into craft beer and such. Any suggestions on what to get? A gift card? I could make a basket of various beer and stuff, but not sure what kinds are good (I'm a dork and don't drink, lol...)
Any and all suggestions would be much appreciated!

i made a basket of beer for a few people and they loved it. find out what their fav beer is and get similar ones. (im also clueless about beer) theres a huge selection at fairway. you can also add diff types of nuts as "fillers" for the basket as well. Maybe a personalized bottle opener to go with it?

oooh... cool... I like the nuts and bottle opener suggestions. I will have to look into that!
I will check out Fairway for beer. Still have no idea what is what with that, so if anyone has any suggestions (either actual beer brands or places to shop), I would be forever grateful!

^Great ideas. I'd even go for 1 of few different varieties of beers. Craft beer lovers usually like to try different flavors.
Another gift idea is a beer flight kit.
And then 4 types of craft beers to go along with them. I'd go to a beer distributor and ask them for recs if you're not sure what they'd like best.

-Blue Point Brewing Co in Patchogue
-Southampton Publick House (also has restaurant)
-Great South Bay in Bay Shore
-Oyster Bay Brewing Co.
-Long Ireland Brewing
Another suggestion might be a GC for the Tap Room in Patchogue. It's a restaurant but has 52 beers on tap (which is REALLY good) and specializes in craft beer. That way, they can go eat and also try some of the different craft beers without the pressure of you knowing the actual ones they would like. :) HTH!

Awesome, thank you so much! It definitely helps. Thinking I might do a $50 gift certificate in a small basket with some nuts/snacks and a cool bottle opener. Maybe a few other things... sigh, I guess I just upped my budget to $100. The thank you is TOTALLY warranted so...

Not sure your time frame but I bought my husband the bottle cap holder from this site for his bday bc he collects bottle caps. They have lots of interesting things that I've never seen before.
