need food ideas for 1st birthday party
we're having a pool party for DD on June 30th. I definitely don't want to BBQ because then either me or DH would be stuck at the grill the whole time.
We want to cater but can't agree on what kind of food. Any ideas?

We had DS's first birthday at a catering hall and had meatballs, chicken parm, sausage & peppers, skirt steak, potatoes, salad, penne vodka, etc. Everyone loved the food. Can you have it catered and use sternos?

We are having DS's party this weekend and are doing a 6 ft hero, cold salads, and rotisserie chicken. Catered by a deli. We thought this would be a little easier b/c then we don't have to worry about keeping everything hot etc. But our party is also very small and casual.
