1st year birthday party decoration/theme ideas -girl?
Kayla will be a year old in July and I want to start working on decorating for her 1st birthday party. We are renting out our co-op's community room and need to decorate. I am very crafty and like to make things myself, but I want to do something other than a "princess" theme.
Anyone have any ideas or suggestions???

here is the stuff I am using....I am also buying the pull string pinata and baking a HUGE cupcake and some regualr size cupcakes in place of a cake

We did a luau theme. There is so much you can do with that theme for the kids and the adults. We threw in a pinata too. I had a pinata at every birthday growing up. They are just fun.

Emma is a spring baby so I'm thinking of doing a polka dot theme in pinkand white and some pastel green thrown in.
