need decorating help with a few rooms

This is our master bedroom. The ceilings are vaulted in half the room. I have no idea what to place over our bed



and along this whole top of the wall


Also, what would you place over this console table?



And along the ugly green carpeted stairs?
The carpet is going and we still havent decided on a wall color for the hallway, so dont mind that mess.

For the bed, I would maybe put a set of 3 frames (picture or artwork) above, or maybe metal type of art (those scrolly looking things.

Above the table-- The lamp is throwing me off because of the height, but maybe a mirror. You can put a seasonal wreath in front of the mirror or just by itself.

For the last pic, maybe a large piece of art.

what if you did something like this on the stair wall.....just on the wall you are showing......



you could do a bench for additional storage, to put on shoes, and hang pics or something above it.....

Michael's sells a really great wall template for hanging pictures on the staircase. The frames that go with the template are a bit expensive, so you are better off waiting for a sale or collecting the 40% off coupons (which is what I am doing) and buying them one by one.
