Need car seat help, please!
hi,
we have the britax marathon for our car & we love it. my parents want a car seat for their car but i don't know what to get?
our son is 12 months & almost 25 lbs already. should we get a car seat or a booster seat? the marathon is too expensive for their car as he doesn't go in their car much but they want a good seat...
any recs???

Graco CarGo Convertible goes to 100lbs and is about $90. Hubby has it for his truck. They had good reviews on the BRU website......

I have the Evenflo Triumph. I like it and it is big and comfy and got good ratings.
I read the NYS Safety law and booster seats:
Who should use a booster seat?
The next step of children who have outgrown a forward-facing child safety seat is a booster seat, usually when a child weighs more than 40 pounds or grows more than 40 inches in height.
I am thinking the baby should still be in a car seat at this point.

Car seat, he is way too young for just a booster. The Evenflo Titan is only like $60 and was highest ranked by Consumer Reports.

My parents have a graco comfort flo (I think that is what its called) it wasonly about $80. The salesperson at BRB said it was rated about the same as the evenflo triumph but it is smaller.

We got an Evenflo for my parents car and with acoupon was 50 at Babies R Us...
It serves it purpose....
