Need BTDT IUI/IVF advice please.
I have been waiting for about three weeks to hear if I have been approved for IVF. I was advised to go the IVF route with PGD because I am a carrier of Fragile X and my DH has a low sperm motility rate.
First they said, we need another sperm analysis. Fine. Done. That was the end of March.
Now, I was told we will hear the beg. of last week. Nope. Nada. Zilch. Great.
I have been calling at least once a week. I called last Monday. I called today. Now what do I do? Switch drs? Call my insurance myself?
PGD takes a while to set up anyways.... I am just waiting.
Is this normal? Advice please.

At this point I'd probably go down to the doctor's office and personally speak to them since you aren't getting anywhere on the phone.
I'm sorry this is so frustrating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would just show up and speak directly to the person who deals with insurance.

I just might. I left her a message today. If I don't hear back tomorrow. I am going to stop in to the office.

I have sometimes had a delay or two in getting a phone call but I would always be pushy. I would call your RE's office and ask who does their insurance. Then I would ask if that person worked f/t and p/t. Then I would ask if she was there because you have not hear from them. If this gets no results then I would speak to your RE directly.
