Need BD advice

I have been seeing my RE and he told me that, in addition to the monitoring in hte office, that I am to use the OPKs which I have been doing.

He also told me that once you get the smiley, you are to BD the NEXT night and the night after. Anything done before that is just for fun and pleasure (his words lol)

I got my smiley this morning... I was thinking to BD tonight, tomorrow night, Friday night, off Saturday, and then BD Sunday.

I really haven't BDd before today... just once on CD 9 I think.

I only had a little CM (yellowish) about 3 days ago - today is CD 16. None since then.

Do you think I missed my chances? From what I read... alot of you ladies TTC before the smiley - has anyone gotten a BFD after just BDing AFTER your smiley??

I would trust your doctor, that is why he gets paid the big bucks.

However, just from my totally non scientific research - I have read that it may take a bit for the guys to get to where they need to be. So the ideal day to BD would be the day BEFORE your positive OPK, the day OF the positive OPK and the day AFTER the positive OPK.

I feel like if you are at the very end of your surge when you test and then wait until the next day to BD it may not give them enough time to get where they need to be to meet the egg.

Have you looked into Deanna's plan? It tells you to BD every other day starting on CD 8...when you get your smiley do it that day and two days after..skip a day and then BD 1 more time....that's what I did this month We'll see!

But I would trust your RE. It is his specialty you know! I don't think you missed anything. if you got your smiley today you hve 12-36 hours before you O...so if you do it today you will get his boys in there! lol
