need advice, if there is any re toddler poops
DS is almost 3.5 and he has had loose poops once or twice a day since last Wed. He is not having any other symptoms. Daycare has been letting him come as long as he doesn't have them or have more then 2 of them in the day as he is clearly not sick.
I know the MD is going to say, keep him hydrated and wait it out, but im wondering if it could be stress related due to us just having moved a week ago. He also started a new classroom and the teacher is way too strict so he is struggling.
Or maybe he developed an allergy at 3.5...is that possible...not sure to what, but im stumped.

Re: need advice, if there is any re toddler poops
My DD had this at 2.5 & the dr wasn't at all concerned. He said if you have a fast metabolism & eat a lot of fruits/veggies (which my DD does), then it's going to be loose. He said diarrhea was 6+ times/day.
Does your DS drink juice? We had just started letting DD have a little juice when it started, so we stopped that as well. Now she's 3, and sometimes it's loose & 2-3 times/day and sometimes it's normal 1x daily. I've noticed that the strawberry or blueberry applesauce also makes her go loosely, too.

He has always had juice, but watered down. Recently I have been giving him straight-up juice in pouches in the car, that could be part of it. I also let him have a lot of applesauce pouches lately so ill cut back on that too.
Is your DD in daycare? What were their thoughts on the 6+ times/day. My daycare wants to send him home for 2+ loose bms.

We aren't in daycare, so I don't have advice on how to deal with them, maybe a Drs note saying he's not sick??
My DD never had it urgently, she was just pooping 2-3 times per day and it was very loose.
Def cut out the applesauce pouches for awhile... They really go right through my DD sometimes. I also have my Dd yogurt to get the probiotics.

Re: need advice, if there is any re toddler poops
I would water down the juice again. My oldest son still has loose poop when he has too much straight juice.
I used to give him straight juice whenever he was getting backed up.
I still water down his juice (even mots for tots, lol) at 6.5yo!

Thanks all!
I watered down the juice again and cut the apple sauce pouches to one here and there and he seems to be much better. I think he had a virus to be honest now that I think about it... or should I say now that I have it...it is mild so it didn't seem like one from outside looking in.
