Need advice: baby acting strange?

DS has always been a very good eater and sleeper. He usually takes 5-6oz of formula per feeding. For the past few days he will take the first 3oz ok. I will stop to burp him and then when we go back to the bottle he gets very fidgety and starts hitting the bottle with his hands and making noise. I feel like it's almost a struggle to go any further. He seems to still be gaining and we have wet diapers. He has also been a little more difficult to put down for naps specificly. I know that babies gradually stay awake for longer stretches, but we are putting him down when he's yawning, rubbing his eyes, and doing his little tired cry, but he just lays in his crib and cries and cries. He also has been jamming his hands into his mouth, especially after that 3oz mark with the bottle. I saw a little white breaking through his gum a couple of weeks ago, but it has not gotten any redder or grown any further. Does this sound like teething? I was also wondering if maybe reflux could have something to do with it too since we both wound up wearing a lot of spit-up today. Also odd, DH picked him up because he was crying in his swing and DS started crying hysterically. DH put DS back in his swing with his paci and he seems fine now. He has just been acting unusual. He's a little young to be full out teething, no?

Could be teething. Do you notice any gas issues? If you are putting him down for a nap after he is rubbing his eyes and yawning, he may be overtired. Try putting him down a few minutes earlier. You can always give the ped a callChat Icon

How old is he? Sounds like a little reflux to me or maybe gas. Try giving him mylocin drops before each feeding and see if he does better.
