need advice-a little long
I'm going crazy and don't know what to do. On cd 12 I got a positive opk. Bd with dh like crazy for 3 days. Waited but my thermal shift never happened. My temp. finally started to dip low on cd 17, 18, and 19(indicating o was imminent so I thought) the past 3 days. Again I bd with dh like crazy-and still no temp shift indicating o. At first I thought perhaps I was having a late o. Now I'm thinking I might not o this month but still have creamy cm (sorry tmi). Last month I O on cd 19. My question is ...do I bd with dh one last time tonight or do I just have a glass of wine and wait until next month? I'd love to bd AND have a glass of wine but know it will give my a "false" elevated temp tomorrow morning and I will never know.

Re: need advice-a little long
I am wondering why you are not trusting your OPK. If you got a positive on CD12, you probably O'd sometime between CD12 and CD14. Ovulation can change from month to month if you have been having irregular cycles. Temps can be somewhat unreliable if your sleep is disturbed or you are temping at different times in the morning. As for your CM, some women have some kind of CM throughout their cycle. The EWCM is the most important kind for TTC. As for the BD and the wine, I don't think either will hurt at this point.

Re: need advice-a little long
thanks V. I temp the the same time each day and in the past my temp have risen (showing that I ovulated). This time-not at all and I have been taking temp consistently. Thats why i think i never ovulated cause I never got the shift. iIt's already 7 days after my positive opk. Temps should have risen by now. Its wierd. In any case having a glass of wine now and saying to heck with ttc for this month.lol
and NO

Re: need advice-a little long
That is weird. It's sounds like your body was gearing up to O, but then didn't. I've read that things like stress, travel, illness, etc. can cause that to happen.
Personally, I've found that one drink, especially earlier in the evening, doesn't have an effect on my temps, so I would have that wine! Oh, yeah, and BD too, just in case!
ETA: oops, didn't notice this was from last night!
