need advice

dr B just called. my repeat immune panel came back messed up. NK cells are high, so is TNF. dr B wants me off dex and on high dose of prednisone and Ivig.

i am just scared. who has experience with Ivig? how safe is it? how effective is it?

anyone? i do not think i will be sleeping a lot tonight

no, not intralipids. i am doing intralipids now, they do not seem to work.
i am talking about Ivig, the expensive IV of human blood's plasma.

IMO if it were me i wouldnt worry about being scared, i would worry about staying pregnant. so honestly i would just do it and not worry about the side effects as long as i knew it had a good shot of helping out my pregnancy.
im sorry the panel came back high but im sure dr. B will do all he can to help you stay pregnant!! that's why you're seeing him - that's his specialty!!

I totally trust Dr. B, I honestly believe that he wouldn't give you anything harmful

Totally not related to TTC but DD had an IVIG treatment when she had Kawasaki disease. She was 8 months old at the time so I assume it has to be safe.
