need advice

my dh changed his job location and had is scheduled changed, he now works 4p-12p which brings him home after 2pm on good days. i go back to work Sept and i start work at 8:30 am. i have to get up and be out of the house by 6:30pm (i work in the city). i can't find daycare in LI, called all over and my mom lives in the city. what would you do?

my dd goes to a daycare that she can arrive at by 6:30 and stay until 6:30.....when we were looking we found lots that opened at 6:30....could you dh stay awake a bit when he gets home and drop her somewhere by 7 and then go to sleep?

probably, the issue now is that i have called a few places (bellmore/wantagh/merrick) and they don't have any spots free.

Definatley not too late! My SIL got a great job and had to start in two weeks. She had really tough hours too and found someone within a week. You can do it.

Try putting an ad on Craigs List or just search for "nanny" or "babysitter" on there. Good luck!!

maybe Im confused, Your DH is doing a 4-12am and gets home around 2am? If Im right why would you need a sitter if hes home? If thats the case maybe you cna get a mothers helper while he sleeps?
My DH works 6pm-2am gets home 3am and is up to watch DD @ 8am...
Just asking maybe I dont understand the hours correctlyChat Icon
