When my cousin and his wife had their baby, I sent them a cookie bouquet. They loved it because the cookies were adorable, yummy and great to feed all the visitors. Cookies by Design

We received a very cute wood step stool for DS with his name in block letters.
He loves it. he plays with the puzzle pieces, sits on it to eat his snacks, and climbs on it to get into hijinx!!

I love personalized gifts. You can always look on etsy and have a pretty blanket made with the baby's name. I've also recieved nice burping/changin cloths personalized.
