Need a Place for Girls Night Out
A group of us some married and some not, want to do a girls night out. No meat markets, no clubs, no blasting music although entertainment is good. i am flat out of ideas at this point other than the typical hang out at a restaurant. We are geograpically working with some girls from wading river, oakdale and babylon so it needs to be convenient for all and not in Nassau. Anyone have some good, fun, suggestions?

Starbucks (quiet enough to talk) or an independent coffee house/cafe
Bookstores like Borders sometimes has live music in the cafe on weekends
If you are active, rock climbing gym, or pole dancing party
One of those pottery places
Live music venue - if there is a theater - like Huntington IMAC, and then dinner
Independent film - again, Huntington has cinema arts centre and theres a cafe there as well to discuss the film after

This is exactly what I was going to suggest..it's a nice place, the food is good, and they do have bands/dj's but they aren't too loud that you can't have conversation.

I agree with Painter's. I love that place. I go there with my friends when we want a girls night out. They make the best cosmo's.

A friend of mine went to psychic night at the Milk and Sugar Cafe and really liked it. It sounded like a fun, different kind of night!
