Natural cleaner for wooden floors??
I have a swiffer that I use now to clean my wood floors, but since my son is now crawling and walking all over the floor I don't want to use the spray since I know it has chemicals in it. Is there a natural cleaner that works with the swiffer...or one I can make myself (I know there are some out there that you can make at home). Thanks!!

Natural cleaner for wooden floors??
I recently bought a wood cleaner at Bed Bath and Beyond that is safe for children and pets. I do my wood floors and the tile in the kitchen. It is called Folex and it is in the aisle with the Bona products. It cleans the wood floors really well.

How much of each do you use when you mix them?

Natural cleaner for wooden floors??
If you are using a bucket I use a 1/2 cup vinegar with a gallon of water. If I use a squirt bottle I use about a 1/4 cup of vinegar and 2 cups of water. I use it to clean everything. If you need a more grittier cleaner, don't use on your floor I add baking soda and if I want a soapier consistency I add some dish detergent again not to use on hardwoods.
