natural blondes - have you gone lighter?
My hair has always been blonde but I want to go lighter.
I know nothing. What can I do? Does it have to be highlights? I don't want to be platinum and look washed out - just lighter. Is single process not feasible? I am going to make an appointment soon but I want to not sound like a total idiot when I go
Help . Please?

my first instinct is not to go lighter. if i had my way i would deepen your base one or two levels with a warm blonde and then highlight your hair with a very light pale honey color..but thats jmho xox

Do you suggest that in part because of the winter pale I'm sporting in that picture?

You have a great hair color! If it was me I would do a little bit of highlights throughout your crown with a color that is just a shade or two lighter. Just something for a change and to brighten it up a bit.
Good luck!

Re: natural blondes - have you gone lighter?
Yes, I have similar hair color but more ivory-toned skin. First, we colored my hair darker but then I hated it. So we ended up doing highlights on top of the now-washed out brown color. It's much brighter but I can't wait for the brown to completely fade away.
I'm probably no help, huh?

I wouldn't do process. I would do 2 lighter colors for highlights. One a teeny bit lighter than your natural color and then one lighter than that.

It should be easy, your hair color is the same as the base color on Miranda. You just need the right toner over the highlights.

Toner. I don't know what that is if it's not for a printer but I'll ask about it.
You and prunepie schooled me on this hair stuff

You and prunepie schooled me on this hair stuff toner is a rinse that goes over highlights at the shampoo sink. for example you can choose a warm or cool...gold or platinum to get the right "tone" on the highlights...or to refresh color/highlights in between appts :)
