Nassau Coliseum & Peanut Allergy
I know this is a little random, but wanted to see if anyone here had taken their child with a peanut allergy to Nassau Coliseum. I read on their website no outside food, but I think they make exceptions if there are dietary restrictions. We're taking DS to the circus tomorrow and I want to bring safe snacks for him from home, so I was just wondering if anyone had done this before. Thanks in advance!

At all of the kids events I've gone to at the Coliseum, they let everyone bring in food for their kids. I always pack snacks and drinks for my DD. The only time they have taken away water bottles from me is at adult concerts.

If you talk to a security guard and explain they will probably let you through.
If you are concerned, you can kind of hide it. I get stuff in all the time (i'm an Islanders season ticket plan holder) I just put it in a zippered part of my diaper bag, or in my coat pocket (They don't pat down women for hockey games...not sure about the circus). The last game I went to I had a pouch of applesauce in clear view on my side mesh pocket of my diaper bag and they didn't say anything. They barely look in the bag to be honest.

I called many years ago for my son when we went there for elmo. They had no problems with us bringing food in for him
