Nap advice

My 4 month old is driving me crazy with napping. He is absolutely exhausted and will fall asleep in my arms and wake up the second he is put down. He will sleep for 3-4 hours while we are out of the house, but I can't always stay out that long just driving him around. I have been trying to just put him down tired but he just screams and never falls asleep. Anyone with any suggestions please help. I am desparate.

Re: Nap advice

have you tried the miracle blanket? I couldn't put my son down for naps either....as soon as he would leave my arms his eyes would fly open...they sense the difference in temperature....once I wrapped him n the miracle blanket, he took fabulous naps...I only used it for naps though, he slept great at night

Re: Nap advice

Have you tried the swing when he is a little tired. THe motion may help him. My ds used to not like the swing but he will nap in it now. It only works if he isn't over tired.

Re: Nap advice

We had that issue at around that age. We used the miracle blanket for naps and he adjusted much better.

Re: Nap advice

I too would recommend the MB. DD used it until she was about 6 months old. We also used the swing for naps.
