Im starting on the search for a nanny and was hoping to get some help with some questions...

Is the pay typically more or less for a live in nanny? What about partial live in (only during the week)?

Whats the going rate for live in nannys?

Is the salary different for one child vs 2?

What is the max # of hours a live in will work- is 7:00-7:00 unrealistic?

What benefits are given? Vacation days, sick days, etc? How is it handled if nanny is sick- is she paid? Want to be fair and also not encourage her top come to work sick.

If not going through an agency, did you write up a contract?
