Names
Have any of you ladies had baby names even before TTC but then once you had the baby decided to name him/her differently? OR decided to keep the name you had your heart set on? DH and I had a baby girl name in mind for about 5 years now lol..I just wonder if we will stick with it once we have a baby or if we decide to go with something different.

we had a few names that we liked for years..before we even thought about kids. Once we got pregnant we added to the list a little, but we ended up staying with one of our original girl names (Chloe  )

We had always had our boy name since we met...5 years later we have our little Jack.
We never had our girl name; we were back & forth, then around 8 months we came up w/ her name & we knew that was it.

I had a girl's name picked out since I was a little girl and I had even discussed it with DH when we first started dating... but that was 4 years ago.
Some how, as soon as we got PG, we discussed the name again and DH didn't like it anymore. He wants a much more mainstream, simple name. I'm ok with it. I don't love it like the other one, but I love DH and it's a fine compromise.
If we have a boy, I might insist on a name I like which hopefully DH is ok with.
I think when it comes down to it, it's about compromise.

Yes, we have names picked out boys and girls that we want. Dont know what would change that but def could happen and i would be open to it.
