NOOOOOOOOO! The icing/frosting is the best part. Not that the cake part isn't good too, but a cake without icing is just nowhere near as good!

I had one at my wedding 2 years ago! I actually don't like frosting and always push it off so it was perfect for me  And it fit my wedding theme!

I asked my cousin and she said almost the same thing lol
It's a new trend in cake decorating where there is little icing on the exterior of the cake.
I think it's safe for work to Google or pinterest the phrase lol

Naked Cakes... yay or nay?
I like it. I think it looks pretty and as long as there's a good amount of frosting between the layers and the cake itself is moist there's no need for the outside frosting.

I don't love frosting, but that cake looks like it has more frosting in between the layers, than what would be on the outside of the cake.

I don't like most cakes; the only part I ever maybe eat is the filling (depending upon what the filling is). These cakes look like they favor filling over frosting (?), so I think I would like it better. I never heard of a naked cake before until now!
