Re: Myspace vs. Facebook

Facebook is WAY more confusing. It seems like the only interesting thing to do is install new applications every day. Im getting bored and irritated with it and Im thinking of deleting my account

Honestly I use both but I find Facebook more interactive. The gazillion applications are annoying, but I the games they have on there are fun.

Plus its a different crowd on Facebook, at first it was just for college kids, so a lot of my college friends are the ones that use it, and i use it to keep in touch with them.

Agreed!
I've gotten in contact w/ so many good old friends on FB!

Re: Myspace vs. Facebook

I just recently made a Facebook page- I like the appearance of the Facebook page more than MySpace.

My main reason, though, is that TONS of my students found me on MySpace. Chat Icon Chat Icon I prefer not to know of the stupid things they are doing online, and prefer to keep certain aspects of my life separate from work.

I barely go on facebook unless I receive an email that I have a new post or message. All of the applications hurt my eyes - its too busy!

I am more a fan of MySpace but I think that is just because that is what I knew for so long/first before facebook.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that is perplexed by Facebook. I can't figure out how to do anything. Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: Myspace vs. Facebook

I don't have myspace so I can't compare.

But I will say I like FB because I have found many old friends. They actually find them for you... On the side of your homepage you have a list of people who "you may know". (I think it is based on your school info ect. Also, they list people who are friends of friends on your list.)

Re: Myspace vs. Facebook

I have accounts on both, but I find facebook to be really annoying.

On the other hand, I'm a Myspace addict--I tend to check my site about 6-8 times a day! Chat Icon

I'm on both, but I enjoy Facebook more. It takes awhile to get used to, but now i'm rarely on myspace.

Ditto - I just signed up recently and have not gone onto Myspace since I created the Facebook account.
