Mylicon for gas
Our DD has terrible gas  Has anyone had any success with Mylicon? Thanks!

US!! Swear by the stuff!! I use the dye free one and pediatrician ok'ed it. I try to save it for the pm feedings........

It didn't work for us at first, but later on it did, when we started using it more consistently. I put a few drops in every bottle, and it seems to help...

I used it and I think it helped. You can give it up to 12 times a day... I gave it to him after every feeding.
I hope he feels better soon.

didn't work for us and my doc recommended against it since it has alcohol in it (but she is VERY conservative).
We used chammomile tea with a little but of brown sugar in it!!! It works GREAT! and is totally homeopathic. Good luck and hang in there, it is sucha tough time, i remember it well.

This was the 1st recommendation and it didn't help

You need to make the water VERY colored with t he tea (swirl the tea bag around for at least 30 seconds so the water becomes a littel pinkish), and then a 1/2 tsp of brown sugar, make sure she is not gulping it down and use the Dr Brown's bottle, also, make sure it is luke warm.
If you don't have enough tea in the mixture it won't work.

Ok, what about gripe water? Did you give that a try? My SIL swears by that stuff, it realy worked for my niece.

i used it in the beginning with jacob and it did nothing... then i switched to gripe water. Seemed to help some.. then i switched back to mylicon when he turned 3 months and it has helped alot.. i think.. somehow i just think he got more bowel maturity and the gas started to just go away on its own. Good luck!!
