I just got a Samsung front loaded with VRT (vibration reduction technology) because it's on the second floor. I love it! My broke down last week too. I bought it on Saturday. It was delivered on Monday.
We went to Sears. I ended paying about $250 less than PC Richards for the same washer and dryer. They had a great sale. Not sure if it's still on.

I have this machine, plus the matching dryer! I love it! It's HE and Energy Star, plus it's a top loader, has no agitator, so you can fit more and there are so many cycles to choose from to fit your laundry.

I really do not like shopping for appliances at all......Ialso saw Whirlpool Duet that looked good.....I dont wanna spend a small fortune
